I have the same.

The ongoing horse races are still dormant. The market is constantly refreshing, I can see the price fluctuations, and everything seems fine. However, the market status remains dormant, and the triggers aren't working.

I just wondered if anyone else has experienced and issue with this today. 

I have triggers that only place bets, when the market moves to either at the post, going behind, or under orders. This has worked fine for me for at least a year until today, where I noted it was not placing any bets.

I reviewed the logs and saw that the status was not reaching the correct status, so I watched the next few races and saw that the market was always just showing as dormant. I just wanted to check if anyone else uses this and if they saw the issue to find out if its just an issue for myself or something with Betfair itself not passing the info over.

I guess I will have to wait and see what tomorrow brings and work out how easy it would be to remove it.

As my compound trigger has evolved over time I find that there is over twenty different parts of the trigger that use it and so its not like I can just remove it from one place and so will take this as  a warning and that it is time to rewrite the tigger now I have it how I want it to rationalise on repeats like this so it just calls it once - that will teach me to be lax!!!!!!

Do you have a constant or user variable with "back_price" in its name - that would mess up parsing the formula.

Hello, maybe someone knows how to express functions like r_ticks(back_price, 1) inside Formulas. For example: IF(lay_amount>50, r_ticks(back_price, 1), back_price). In this case MF doesn't initialize r_ticks(back_price,1). So, in Log I get: IF(40>50, r_ticks(back_price, 1), 4.50)

Hi Mark. Thanks for the info resetting the data for silks and jockeys. It has worked really well. How long before a permanent return to the data loading automatically??

I think I have found a crude workaround, and hopefully might also help the developers to narrow down a fix:

• load 1 horse racing (GB) market into my markets
• in settings untick download horse racing silks data, save settings
• delete the market from my markets
• load all the markets you need into my markets
• in settings tick download horse racing silks data, save settings
• in my markets click individually on 2 or 3 markets in the list - silks data should appear for all markets

I have not tried this with market locator and can't vouch for reliability but I hope it helps

Hi Mark,  why are there missing details when you use  full mode?  I use jockey names or silks to place bets but for uk courses there are no details now.  The irish courses are ok is this a emporary problem or are you revising the scope of these details?  dac11

Hi Tim. I'm sorry but I don't understand your reply. Are you able to see the silks data on your race screens for tomorrows meetings at Ludlow, Taunton, Wetherby, Chelmsford. If you can, then why can't we see the data when we down load the markets from Betfair in the same way that you do.
Both you and I can see the data for Clonmel so Irish meetings do not seem to be a problem.

If you also cannot see the silk data for the other 4 English meetings, surely this is something you should take up directly with Betfair on our behalf to get the problem resolved. We do not have the knowledge or expertise to know where to begin to start speaking to Betfair on such a matter.

Please do get back to us again as soon as possible to clarify what action is being taken to sort this out.
